• We have a bottom-up approach to invest in new partnerships targeting markets that possess the infrastructure and culture for private equity.
• We will also consider spin-offs and “first time” funds where the team possesses the skills, culture and experience that we believe will succeed. We will continue to evaluate new markets where private equity is becoming established.
• We invest in funds where there are high standards of corporate governance and a strong alignment of interest between the fund manager and investor. We believe in building close relationships with our managers and typically take advisory board seats.
