Our Focus
Since 2000, PPM Managers has supported both established and emerging investment managers who have the potential to generate excellent rates of returns through a distinctive investment strategy in attractive segments of their markets. We aim to select a limited number of primary funds.
PPM Managers has a bottom-up approach to investing in new partnerships. Within markets that possess the infrastructure and culture for private equity, our approach is to consider funds as if they are investments in operating companies. We will also consider spin-offs and “first time” funds where the team possesses the skills, culture and experience that we believe will succeed. We will continue to evaluate new markets where private equity is becoming established.
We invest in funds where there are high standards of corporate governance and a strong alignment of interest between the fund manager and investor. We believe in building close relationships with our managers and typically take advisory board seats.
